Is our pupils' data safe, and used to train AI?
Your school or agency gets its own separate database, so there's no shared table across other schools. Pupil records are stored in London and are never used to train AI. Our privacy policy names every company that handles pupil data for us and what it receives. Outclass acts as your data processor and only acts on your instruction.
What does our safeguarding lead and DPO need to sign off?
Outclass is built to KCSIE 2026 and the DfE Generative AI Product Safety Standards. Many schools and agencies carry out a Data Protection Impact Assessment before adopting a new AI tool. Request the compliance pack below and we'll support that process directly.
Who actually decides what a student or parent sees?
A teacher approves homework, tests, lesson plans and parent reports before they are set or sent. Chat answers, hints, explanations and marking feedback reach a student straight away, without a teacher checking them first.
What will it cost us in IT and staff time?
Outclass runs under your own name, colours and subdomain, so there's no separate app for staff or students to install. There's no self-service pricing; we work through a demo and a considered rollout with your team.
